so much for my new zen. Trying to lay out the simplicity pattern to make my new 'renn dress' and have to wonder did they even bother to include the fabric needed for the sleeves when they list out the yardage needed. The answer is no, no they did not. Whimpers. Back to Joann Fabrics.

oh and parents I'm not sure what wrong side of the bed you rolled out of but quit yelling at me for breathing. Thanks.

You can recapture your zen. Don't give up on it yet. Going back to get more fabric is not the end of the world- is it worth getting down about?

:)

Nothing destroys zen like parents, except maybe spouses and children. Pets do a fair job, too.

snort, don't make me beat your with your pom pom.

I have a bad temper. It's not as bad as it was. I've made a lot of strides in college. Working with patients and now students helps with that.

What's helping the zen? I'm going back home in under 40 hours

Hee! I knew I was opening myself up for a beating. The nice thing is, pom poms don't hurt that much :p

It's not a matter of not getting upset, it's seeing them as blips. :)

Yeah, it's part of why I've put off learning how to use my sewing machine. Good fabric is crazy!

so are patterns. I did the math trying to figure out how this is cheaper than buying my own and....I'm not sure it is (well except on things like this gown)

The only real advantage comes from being able to taylor it to your shape - but that takes a lot of practice, I hear.
