wow, brain, just wow

I had a dream that I was throwing a BBQ party at my grandmother's house but it was no ordinary BBQ all my various friends were there bringing their cultural foods and clothing. The odd thing was while I could find all of P's (math teacher) family I couldn't find her. I kept looking all the while trying to explain Indian food to my grandmother. I could see my Eygptian and Persian friends. My good friend from college S, was there with her husband and son (cultural dress being Rennfair get ups in this case)

Then the dream went weird. It began to rain and I was dragged over to see one of P's relatives who just got his new leg. He showed us the leg but it wasn't a prosthesis, it was a freshly grated leg and you could see the surgical line but no stitches and he was so proud of his leg.

Then I had to help S get her son into the house. The weird thing was, her son was absorbing the rain like a sponge, swelling way up the 'blowing' it out of his skin then running back out into the rain to suck up more water.

then I woke up. Seriously, any scientist who thinks dreams are nothing more than the hippocampus converting short term memories to long term needs to tell me what language THAT was

HEE, that kinda reminds me of that one scene in Harry Potter where the aunt and uncle are blown up. Or something like that. >_<
