WIP Ficathon & a request

Well, I know most of us have probably FORGOTTEN we signed up for the WIP Ficathon since it happened way back in May (even I forgot it was that long ago). Let's put it this way, between me doing my thesis, moving cross country and starting a new job, I haven't had time to even think about this. I know several of you have asked me privately for more time. So, yes, let's extend the deadline again. We now have until Oct. 1st to do this. That's a full extra month. IF you have your WIP done, let me know, I'll get the master list up and you can post away. Since what we're doing here is taking a pledge to finish our OWN stories, if we have any latecomers feel free to sign up. So, October first, I hope to see some finished stories. Good luck.

And that request, since evil_little_dog is still out dealing with RL problems, I could use some willing beta's for some WIP's of mine so I can get a chapter or two out. The two I'm currently eyeballing are

A) Built on Lies which if I find someone on my flist  willing to look at Buffy/Connor I'll fall off my chair. Chapter four needs help.

B) Untitled - the first chapter of my Dawn/Connor plot bunny factory story.

Nope don't need it immediately. Hell ch 4 isn't quite done so...I just don't want to slam Sharon with them whenever RL lets her up nor do I want to wait forever either since it's been doing that as is. If you want to read the first three chapters just follow the link in the original post. And thanks (no worries, there won't be any NC-17 for this)

WHy don't I just send you the Dawn/Connor one when I get ch 1 in shape to not embarrass me. Mostly the beta check thing. I'm not stuck on anything BUT if something seems off don't be afraid to tell me so.

The Buffy/ Connor...well, it IS post Not Fade Away. Angel's alive. However, Buffy thanks to the mind wipe has no idea Angel has a son (who knows if WIllow/Faith told her) and Connor as far as I know was never told of Buffy (for this story no, no one has). In the second story in this series, Angel AND Spike show up at Harry's request in Italy much to everyone's surprise (there's a reason the series is titled fireworks)

And the Buffy/Connor plot sounds veeeeerrrry interesting ;) I can imagine the fireworks will be quite explosive.

I finished ch 1, printed it then realized I forgot to spell check it. I'm such an idiot. I'll go thru it during my office hours and maybe tonight I can a) get it to you b) get to your Dru thing

If nothing else, the Buffy/Connor thing is getting a lot of reviews, many of them hot, many of them loving it (and let's just say that by the end of the series no one will be with who they started with). Poor Buffy. She thinks she's just having a summer fling in Rome with a college student, you know all sex and fun....

Lol I send non spell checked things to Ashley all the time and then I email her and say yes I'm a dork. I forgot to spell check so if you're word is lighting up don't worry about the spelling thing, I'll get it.

Poor Buffy, nothing is ever what it seems for her is it? Hehe I abuse her the same way.

I swear, ch 14 is still inside my head. You'll need Professor X to go digging for it. There's about 3 fragmented scenes. Hopefully soon I'll get more written this weekend after I'm done tormenting my students

No, my poor Buffy just wants a normal relationship. She gets Connor.

I usually don't forget to Spellcheck since I'm dyslexic and god knows what I've typed but I signed off that story at 2 AM so...
