Day four of the happy meme

1. got all the holiday cards out (later than i wanted but they're out)
2. my stuff from Design Toscano came
3. and most importantly I get to screw the insurance company. They dicked around on approving my CT scan to look at that tumor because in Jan I have to pay for it. And if I were in a big city that would be the case. Here I'm in the next day so haha blow me insurance. You're paying.

but really today was all about the suck. I got to sleep in... only to wake up and stay that way. I get to work and realize I had forgotten my flash drive with the final for tomorrow on it. I went to go get it only to have the dean callme with one problem, then the provost called to talk to me about this committee she thought i'd be great for (and like i could say no to that) then students came in then the time passed where i COULD go.

It took them the full two hours to suffer through the final. Then i had to work on my evolution project to present to a hostile K-12 teacher group to satisfy a grant and none of the discs can open on my messed up work computer. The secretary says just go home and email me the test....i do and find my questions for the reading assignment were gone. redid them and took it TWENTY minutes to upload. Beats head on wall.

And tonight i opened the door to let Roy in and in streaked something fluffy and orange. I had to chase this kitten everywhere. He's about 4 months and sweet. I held him for awhile but couldn't get him OUT. He was like lightning fast. Finally got him out with food. Will call shelter.

and i can NOT get this stupid nano done.I've stripped it down and need to get it finished. It can't be longer than 30K for the anthology. I'm putting up the counter to give me a goal and to make sure i'm not too much over. some stuff will have to go, damn it.
