Or at least the faculty isn't. They're trying to get SOMETHING of a campus life going at Rio and I think that's a very good idea. My 'motivational research' (i.e. drinking buddies) volunteered (and if we hadn't the ONLY person there would have been the school nurse so BOO to the faculty). It was faculty against the students. We lost by one question but actually NO ONE missed a question (including the audience participation). It really came down to a matter of reflexes. FInally we figured out how they were beating us to the buzzer. they were all slapping the table at once and it made the damn thing go off. We started to do that too but couldn't quite win.

That's okay. I'd rather the students get the gift bags with the free food coupons and the T-shirts. I'm happy with my consolation coupoon to Subway. They got a pizza party afterward. We faculty went to the local eatery/bar and had OUR beer and pizza party before the game. It was fun. I'm glad they're starting to do SOMETHING for the students.

One of my students comes into my office, looks around and says YOU like anime? My daughter does. She sits there and draws and draws until she makes them look like the people on tv. She's selling her own manga at school for a buck (the kid's 11). Want to see it? Sure.


Speaking of manga, WHY is it necessary to join a new community and list out pairings you hate? THat just guarantees I'm never going to read your stuff. Tell me who you love fine.But starting off the relationship with bashing ships is just the right way to get yourself banned from my reading list

i know. Okay it's the hughes/roy comm. You love hughes/roy (heck I'll even survive with the other pairings) but did you need to go on about how much Roy/Riza sucks. reminds me of the one on Saiyuki who bounced in and announced Sanzo/Goku was pedophilia and she hated it

honestly I have to agree with you there. I write a lot of ship but mostly no one will read if I don't. The weirdest thing right now to me is that the new comm I'm in fma_fic_contest all the entries have been gen fic with a couple exceptions
