Side note teaching while high is fun. I can blame anything retarded that I say on the drugs...then again they DO make me say dumb things like there isn't an 'F' in forty...(yeah what DID I think it was spelled with in that moment)

Also I almost always grade stuff a.s.a.p. I didn't last week because of time constraints. One student was so stressed (one of my older non-trads) she could barely speak. When I showed her that she aced that exam and was getting the best possible grade, she started crying. Probably would have helped if I hadn't let her stress all weekend. Oh well. Only human. Dammit I wanna be superhuman.

Making the students wait a weekend? I remember when I wa taking Freshmen English my senior year in high school, the teacher I had didn't grade anything until the end of the year. I think by then she just put whatever grade on the papers she felt like.

Ah, drugs, lovely drugs. I'm coasting on Sudafed right now (thank you, oak pollen), so we're both in the saying-retarded-things club at the moment. I don't know about you, but I'm also typing retarded things, and my fingers seem to weigh about 400 pounds each. Needless to say I didn't try to do last-minute revisions and post my Nanomowhinging sub today, though I'd planned to. Sinking into a coma seems like a better option right now than editing.
