Well [livejournal.com profile] makd  was asking for Historical Angel(us) fic. For that matter go look at the timeline of fic she already has. Even though I've been up for 36 hours I'm too wired to sleep and the 60m.ph. + winds are so freaking noisy (not to mention new and adrenaline pumping noises here in Hill House) that I might as well sit up and list out the Historical Angel fic that I have. In time line order there's:

Dance with the Devil in the Pale Moonlight - Set in the late 1700's and deals with Angelus and Darla and Holtz (NC-17 and for good reason, contains rape, murder and other vampire mayhem)

Wild - Set at the turn of the century (some how the exact date got left off, grrrr) Angel/Darla. It's actually Darla pov but it deals directly with her trying to woo him back.

Untamed - Set in the 1920's in Chicago just about after Angel rescues that puppy. It's Angel/Darla

Radio Play - set in the 1940's, it's actually Spike/Dru but Angel (cycling in his homeless mode) plays a large role.

The Journey - a ficlet set just after Whistler shows Buffy to Angel.

And oh my lord, I total forgot about this story (no lie I just found 3 ficathon stories I totally forgot I wrote and haven't posted anywhere). It's actually set when Darla is brought back by W&H but it does detail their history a little. It's not really historical Angel but has some elements of it. and I'm betting next to no one's seen it since it was for Angel Book of Days and no one commented on it.

teeheehee. I've already recommended Wild and Radio Play here:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/makd/8458.html#cutid1

when I did my posting on The Order of Aurelius. But, now I'm thinking, I should've included Wild, 'cause, as I recall, that's in NYC, right?

I'm gonna read Dance with the Devil, Untamed, The Journey, and Shadowless Silence this weekend. Thanks for the links!

Untamed and The Journey sound more like Historical!Angel- - ensouled, but hasn't been to SunnyD yet.

I meant, I should've included Wild with the Historical!Angel posting, as well. It's already listed with the Order of Aurelius stories. (it's late;I'm sleepy.)

Oh that's right. I rather forgot (which as I've been saying all week, I've turned into a goldfish with correpsonding memory).

Actually all of my historical Angel are ensouled Angel except Dance with the Devil and the one I'm working on now

Nifty.

Being a history major I must go read some of these now.

Hope you enjoy. If you see where I've screwed up a history tidbit, tell me.

Historical!Angel IS ensouled. Before that, he was Angelus, and before that, he was Liam.

Just finished The Journey, and I love it! Figures that Angelus would've taught Spike all about "veal".

I've read Wild, Untamed, Radio Play, already. I think I recommended all 3 in the Order of Aurelius recs.

Dance with the Devil I'll be reading this weekend. I know I'm gonna like it.

thank you, again, for the feedback and the links. You gave me a fun evening of reading.

Yes, well I guess there is that. When I think historical I just think before the show and divide it out from there.

THanks. I'm glad you liked that little story. Dance with the Devil just won an award so I'm pretty happy about it.

Oh they're all so good! Can 'consistent' be used as a compliment?

Would it be OK for me to archive some of them at Archaic Reputation (http://quasi-evil.net/angel)? Pretty please?
