Damage to the Shaky Shack

Minor luckily. Looks like the siding on my bedroom/kitchen is buckled. Every thing on my porch was everywhere. SOme books and stuff were off the shelves but no real damage done.

Work blows. That is all. (Read nothing I want to air publically for fear of losing job should it be noticed)


These dreams Last night's was a doozy. I was shopping at a mini-mart. Actually I looked at the neighborhood and the time of night and said I didn't want to go in because I'd get shot and my friend poo-pooed me and in we went....and a group of armed men showed up (naturally).

I did get back outside and as I was scurrying for cover, I stopped dead (and at this point I stopped being me. Oh I was still me but I was now male, in fact I was my character James Whirlwind Soldier from RIveroak). The reason I stopped dead was the building was surrounded by young people in outfits that honestly screamed We Stepped OUt of Video Game. They were standing stark still and there was no sound. The one closest to me said, 'let's jump.' and they started walking straight up the walls of the building. He did slip a little and I helped him up.

They went inside via the roof to handle the bad guys and naturally I went back inside. I did get the gun off of someone but it was so light, like it was plastic. WHen I shot it it had no sound, no recoil but it worked. However I did get shot twice in the torso. I lived long enough to wake up in the hospital then I just plain woke up.

Shit I was jsut reading about the quake in an earlier entry of yours! I'm glad the dammge is minor. How are the kitties now?

And you got some new eggs too! :D I want to see what they look like once the hatch/grow up!

I can't decide whether your ability to find a fault line to live on in Ohio is spooky talented or just spooky. At least you don't collect ceramics or glass. If an earthquake happened here, I'd come home to a mountain of the shards of years' worth of art show purchases. The earthquake is a good argument for plastic vs. clay flower pots, too. Let's just hope there are no aftershocks lurking.
