Lugged 25 pounds of potting soil to my porch for my container garden. I still have 50 pounds of river rock in the trunk. I think I'm going to just cover over the garden. I dithered back and forth until this afternoon over this fate. Frankly I only got good tomatoes out it three years ago. Two years ago they were so so, last year I didn't even get a half dozen. I think it's played out. I'm going to cover it up with rock and plant in some perenialls and call it my meditation garden.

The thing is I went to Wally World to get some pine nuggets which you know rot and become ant havens. When I go out to pick them up in the parking lot that's now their garden center I see the river rock. It's cheaper than the pine. I say I'm leaving my car right here, drive around it, i want rock and not pine that rots out in 6 months like the last time (other customers are now staring at me and at their piney purchases. I run in and make the exchange. The lard ass WW employee actually made me move my car one car width closer so he wouldn't have to walk those three extra steps...

Also I forgot to mention the day of the MOm Drama, I managed to bang my shin getting into my car. I have no idea how. It's now ripened into a knot the color and size of half a plum.

I was thinking about Mom's friend with the fresh cancer diagnosis. You see, not only is she and Mom friends, her mom and my grandma are best friends and my brother and I are friends with her kids, three generations of friends. You don't see that often. The grannies illustrate where we're all sort of from. Vicenzia eis Anna's mom and my Granny's maiden name was Assunta de Gobeo, just a tad ethnic. Vincy had 3 kids, two girls and a boy. Santy had 3 kids two girls and a boy. Anna is the last of Vincy's kids alive, the other two died of cancer. Santy lost my aunt to alcoholism almost 5 years ago. My aunt's birthday was this week. I nearly forgot.

What is that point of all that? None really I guess. Just me arranging the histories in my head.
