So I went to the office for the purpose of streaming FMA Brotherhood eppy 10



I knew Hughes was dying this episode. I thought I was prepared. Still, I nearly cried when Roy did.

What didn't I love about this? Hughes, if you're so damn smart, why didn't you have smarts enough to let someone in on things?

Or for that matter HIDE all the obviously dangerous documents the moment someone knocked on the door to Ed's room.

I'm still holding out hope they buried rocks in your coffin and you'll be back at the end.

Roy, you poor thing. Gah there were so many gorgeous shots of Roy in this. Oh and Roy never stand next to Hughes like you did in Ishbal (yeah I know, NOT a problem any more). You look tiny that way.

But what I loved most was that the thing you feared most about death at Izumi's hands was you wouldn't get to have a girlfriend. Yeah, you're going to lose your virginity before Ed. As soon as that body heals up you're going to be OMG Sex!

There was one thing I didn't like was all the damn chibi shit. They seriously need to knock that the hell off.

Mainlined more Avatar today, finished the second season and the first two eppies of the third. I was rather surprised by some of it but again the details are amazing like the fact that they knew to put a burn mark on the bottom of Aang's foot when he got hit by lightning.
evil_little_dog told me I'd love Zuko/Mai. she was right.

Started the Saikano anime...yeah, not impressed with either the art or the storyline.

I haven't watched the new episode yet...kind of dreading it. I cried in the first series when Elysia screamed in the cemetery not to bury daddy, he has work to do. *sniff*

Haven't seen eppy ten, so i can't comment on it, though I want to and I'm prolly gonna cry again...

I KNOW, RIGHT!? I love the detail in Avatar and it doesn't seem to end when the series itself ends :D

I love this epi too... and hated it because of course we have to loose Hughes. But he was so much cooler in his last moments than in the first one.

Roy = 5'8" So he's not that big anyway.

My dad was 5'8" though, and in his unit he was the smallest guy, but he carried the biggest gun. His was the big 12 pounder that he had to carry all over the place while everyone else had ordinary rifles. hahaha... M-16's I guess. I think Colt had bought the armalite contract on the AR-15 by then and sold them to the army as M-16's... this was back in the early 50's. I don't know what my dad's specific weapon was. I just remember him referring to it as a 12 pounder and saying he was the littlest guy with the biggest gun. (dad did not have Ed's complex at all, and by the time he died, he was probably not standing even 5'6" any more. He shrank.)

Roy did look rather small this ep didn't he? (Ed's getting a kick out of this) Al was priceless. He is definitely gonna be a ladies man. Regardless of his armor I'm surprised he never had any girls interested in him. You'd think they'd be swooning.

I couldn't agree more about the beautiful shots of Roy, and more more I watch ( and read...still reading the manga, 2nd time around) the more I love him. I acually just got a ring tone that is his famous 'dogs' speech, it's funny when some one calls. Poor Maes, we will miss you! Stupid Envy, Roy should have fried him, but NOOO Ed had to go all noble...
