PNEUMONIA. Yeah took a chest x-ray at ye ole urgent care and it's all hazy and gross (that's my medical schooling coming into play there with the terms...)

Aren't I the lucky girl. That didn't stop me for going to one of the best Chinese restaurants around for scallops and shrimp for lunch and to Borders (more on that when I do the giftie round up later while high on codeine)

P.S. I probably would have wound up with pneumonia too had I not dragged myself to the doc and got on those meds so quickly. That bug is a real beeatch (and seems to be making its way across the country with no problems).

Pneumonia. Wish I could say I'm shocked, but that's exactly what it sounded like, from your description. The Z-Pak should kick its butt. Let's hope the aftermath doesn't drag on, though, as pneumonia recovery tends to do. That's a truly crappy bug that's going around (we've already had it here, with heavy casualties, but it seems to have burnt itself out).

Yes, you did send me your novel. No, I haven't sent mine yet. I'm still trying to fix the holes I ripped in Chapter 1 recently, when I decided to rewrite the opening fight scene to include, ahem, character interaction (inventing an entire, developed relationship out of thin air in Chapter 6 didn't work, for some odd reason). I'll send the completed chapters so far to you and ELD as soon as the holes are patched and the first chapter is readable again. Shouldn't be long.
