Moon Landing just because it's fun to watch (and i swear I wish news articles, youtubes etc wouldn't let idiots post comments)

I was only two when this took place and yet I remember it. Well only brief moments of it. My mom and Dad and my grandparents were all huddled around one of those huge console B&W TV's they had back then waiting for it to happen in granny's house. I remember clearly how excited my dad and grandad were. And that is all. Hey i was two. I suppose the argument could be made it cost too much money blah blah blah, I see it two fold a) scientific advancement is to the good b) we were in the middle of a bitter war and there was this shining achievement that made us feel powerful. I'm not sure that's a bad thing either.




SO I called Verizon. They started me off right by leaving me on hold for a half hour then cutting me off forcing me to call back... The upshot of the broadband is for 60$ a month I get 160 hours and 5 gig of download. Okay I did the math, unless i did it wrong (Possible) That means only FIVE hours a day of internet time. Geez, will I know how much I'm using? What are teh costs if I go over are the questions I need to ask when I call b ack.

Also I have to buy the modem AND sign on for two years or the penalties are steep.

My thoughts are a) better than dial up b) I want to MOVE and even if I stay here I want to move closer to town with cable so do i want a two year committment? c) i need more information d) going to call aorund some more to see if there are other options because I can say I'm not loving it



So I go to get my license renewed. Back of my mind it's like hmm wonder if they're open? Sure enough they're not. Not only that but they are only open THREE days a week, none of which is a weekend and only for TWO hours right smack dab in the middle of a work day. If I weren't so flexible I'd have to burn sick/vacation time just to get my license renewed. Scowls at Jackson county. Now I have to go find my second prettiest shirt...

Poor Winry Ed's automail just kept getting worse and worse.

I don't remember Scar going on about Ishbalans and their names but I liked that a lot.

I hate the word alkamesty

I still loathe Mei. Wish she would die

I don't think any driver's license branch is open on Monday. None in IN are.

yeah you know, mom said the same thing. I had that same thought...half way there... That didn't bother me

Cripes, the Verizon deal sounds like it sucks. (BTW, your experience sounds about average for their customer "service," based on my limited experience.) Cable is definitely the way to go when you can.

URGH! The alkamesty thing really urked me too. But Ling and Barry totally stole the show. I know it's not gonna happen but I kept thinking he's gonna get deported one of these days. I feel sorry for Fu for putting up with him.
