no really. I had been so intent on getting that garden done i forgot all about maintaining it. I finally realized just before I left that I hadn't given anything miracle grow. I did before going to PA and now everything looks so much better. I was so neglectful.

I also feel bad about tomorrow. It's the big pre-semester faculty meeting. I hate these things. They round us up, tell us how much money we don't have, how many students we lost etc etc and how much we're expected to sacrifice. Really, this is not a good business practice. It just reinforced the 'why the hell should i bother' attitude.

I looked at a lot of these cd's i just dragged back from PA and decided honestly I don't need them all. IN fact, Jazz particularly is a touchy thing to buy. I hear jazz heritage society's write ups and get all excited and a lot of them I didn't like but never got rid of since i paid for them. Well, that's just silly. So I'm listening to them trying to find the ones that can just go away now. I'll take them to half price bookstore or donate them to a library or something. I already have three in the kitty to go.

Speaking of Kitties Kyo apparently decided he wasn't chancing me running away again so he stayed with me all day. He even tried to get into the tub before deciding maybe he really didn't want to do that.

As you know, I'm an audiophile and listen to quite a variety of music. I would be willing to send you some $ for a few CDs. I prefer smooth jazz over Sonny Sharrock type stuff.

One of my faves, if you're looking for more, is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowfax_(band) Sadly, the leader died in 95 so they are no longer recording together. I would recommend "The Odd Get Even" as being my favorite.

Ah, blues is good, too. :) The only types of music I don't like are country (at least this modern stuff) and the ghetto rap. I feel the reason that I don't like those two is because I don't live or identify with those lifestyles.

Music can be tricky to purchase. Sometimes the only song I like on an album is the one I heard on the radio; other times, the whole CD is great. Sadly, I haven't had a radio in my truck for a long time and haven't been listening, so I'm not hearing much new music.

Awww, sweet lil' Kyo!

Dickens is driving me nuts. He wants SOMETHING, but I don't know what, and he's going to keep bugging me until I go MAD!

especially jazz when yuo don't get to hear it on the radio much at all. But yes I especially have a ton of country CD's here that I bought for a radio song and the rest sucks. THose I want to just rip the good stuff and get rid of the damn cd

Kyo is sleeping right now. the only time he's good

That's where it's cushy. Dickens only lies on me when I'm already lying down. He doesn't really do laps for some reason.

Toccata used to love to lie on top of my head. Nothing I did would dissuade her.
