Kyo has gone missing. This is the longest he's every been gone. That's the risk with indoor/outdoor cats. Sadly I couldn't break him of going out. I have $$$ worth of damage to repair when he freaked out over the imposed indoor-only status.

I walked the road looking for him but if he got hit, he could pull into those thick bushes and never be seen. None of my neighbors have seen him in two days.

Haven't totally given up on him, being a boy cat (genetically if no longer physically). Sigh.

Sigh. We've had both return and never-return with our indoor-outdoor cats. Yes, it is the risk, but it also gives them some measure of freedom. I hope Kyo comes back; his namesake would. Keeping good thoughts.

thanks. Yeah I've done it this way my whole life. I've had some live until 20 and other die early. The cat was just happier being able to go out

I had Nik go missing for two or three days when he was young, and I was sure he was gone for good. Then he just showed up again. I hope Kyo comes strolling home soon. ((hugs))
