when you put your eyeshadow on your lips as you get ready for work. I don't even WEAR lipstick at work...

However it IS 09-09-09. How cool is that? Things like that make me insanely happy

EIther you did well on today's exam or failed. Gee, the people in the backcorner who do nothing but snigger at me while I teach failed. Imainge that!

Had a CT scan on my sinuses today. It was the shortest CT scan of my life. Met two of my students there in the clinic and their son. They're also friends of mine. The little guy is starting to speak...in fact at 3 y.o. he now won't shut up. Dad offered to sell him to me. By the end he was offering to pay me to take him. Ha!.

Got home to see Roy's hair is all falling out and he has fleas (I suspect that the fleas are causing the hair issues) however since he wouldn't stay in and a storm is coming the frontline shall have to wait.

And BOY did that storm hit. It was vicious. For two hours nothing but downpours and lightning. Took out the satellite and in no way was I turning on the computer. I did get several meals cooked though including some very yummy easy to make tomatillo salsa (I'll pass on the recipe soon)

I need the tomatillo salsa recipe - I've got tomatillos and Mom's gonna do something weird with them if I don't get a recipe. (Last night, she chopped them up with regular tomatoes and served them on burgers.)

I'm still trying to figure out how you had the hand eye coordination to put eyeshadow on your lips! I'm super lazy and after the whole foundation/concealing thing do nearly nada. I sweep on a neutral shadow, do some mascara and a little lip gloss and I am out the door.

I hear you on furless canine type beasties. Poor Tino has an owwie the size of a silver dollar right over his tail. He's on two medications 2x daily and had a shot of antibiotics and steroids this morning. Seems to be in check now.

I have no idea how I managed it. heck I don't even do lipstick or mascara. I do use shadow since my eyes are like the one nice thing in my face.

The date is cool, isn't it? I love things like that. The media picked up the date over here because 999 is also our number for the emergency services. So there's a fact for your stories - if you want fireman, police or an ambulance - dial 999…

I hear you on the cat. One of ours keeps pulling her hair out and frontline doesn't seem to help, at least, not for the whole month. We think its because we have two cats, and they just keep re-infecting each other and Molly is just extra sensitive.

Did you sustain any storm damage?

I have those days where my shirt is inside and and backwards or I put pimple cream on my toothbrush. Yeah, those days never tend to go well.

I was the jackass student who would snigger in the back, but only because I had read ahead and understood the material (still acing the test). They must have thought I was some cheater or who knows what (well, I wasn't like hat for every class. Some classes I DID engage in the lesson. Others the teachers bored me so I read on my own and goofed off during class...a jackass).

I hope the CT scan was short because they found nothing, and not because they immediately found all sorts of things. No one could pay me to take a 3 yr old either.

It's one of those things as I grew older that I regretted. I wish I had been less of a jerk when I was in school. Can't change the past though.

I don't have advantage, though if I do add it I'll let you know. If the topical treatments are doing so well, try asking your vet about Comfortis. I don't know if they have it for cats, but it's a mold-based pill they take once a month, and everyone who has used it that I've talked to has been very pleased with the results.
