I heard this one conversation obviously mother and children, mom picking on the child's hair style and the child going 'quit touching me.' I peer around the corner as I load up my machine and mom and child are about 70 and 50 respectively. Child begins to flail around screaming for us to call 911 because she's being harrassed. I'm like lady if we do that YOU'LL be hauled off for a 72 hour hold. Couldn't tell if there was anything mentally wrong with this woman or if she was frozen at age 3


the library was having their Apple Festival Book Sale. I only bought 5 paperbacks (5 for a dollar). L was joking with me, I shouldn't sell you these. You already HAVE too many. You need rehab.

had to break my boycott of Walmart because the cheapass burner pan on the stove collapsed into a pile of rush (in spite of being UNDER a guard) and that's the only place i can get one here. Hopefully it fits since their shit doesn't bother to put measurements on it (ditto the toilet seats which I was also hoping to buy)

Having your own washer and dryer is a slice of heaven. I've spent my life doing the laundromat and apartment laundry thang, and having a washer and dryer of my own rocks. You will not regret it.

I also need bookhab. Sometimes I think I need to be shadowed by a keeper whenever I go into a bookstore.

sadly my washer/dryer became a battle with Sears who wouldn't return them (they did eventually but i had to call Nat'l headquarters) after they assured me they'd fit. I was told by the apt manager to turn the dryer sideways (where you know you cna't open the door) and it would fit

I'm not a Wal-Mart hater, but we don't have one here in Albion and I try to shop locally, when possible. Of course, Albion is too small to get everything I need, so I do step through the smiley face doors from time to time.

I hope you can get your own machines. They have such variety in size and price now - TOTALLY worth it. God, laundomats are worse than the DMV.
