or so claimed one little boy going through the haunted house. We had a great night. 331 people came through, many for the second or third time. Last night they had added chicken wire to my scare spot and I wasn't sure what to do with it. This time I figured it out. I do my cackle running up to it and start pretending to claw and chew my way through. There are going to be a lot of kids (and adults) with nightmares about an old well fed zombie chewing thru the chicken wire to get them.

Best scare - the Indian group that I'm friends with came thru. I had S so scared she couldn't even move which just gave me more time to flail away at the chicken wire.

I took pictures tonight. They came out very well so I'll upload them on monday. I also managed to find my fake blood while looking for something else last night so I added that including a savage cut on my cheek. When I got home, I noticed just how cool the blood running down my cheek looked and the flapping skin looked so real...wait a minute, i didn't use liquid latex to make skin flaps....oh. I cut myself on the chickenwire apparently and it was real blood but heck i didn't feel it but just like a small child who falls and doesn't start crying and until you ask 'are you okay.' my cheek started throbbing like mad as soon as I saw the damage. Also about three hours in, I felt something tear while cackling and I'm thinking, yeah bet that's a bleeding vocal chord.

can't wait until tomorrow.


We also had our Pre-Professional Math/Science club Halloween luncheon today. Made nearly 250$ selling chili/hot dogs/chili dogs. I ate three of the silly things and regretted that but not as much as I regretted scarfing down all the tuna miso roll my parasitology students didnt' eat (but they did take a piece). I wore my Renn dress. T came as a vampiric pirate and R wore a civil war recreationist dress. Yes there'll be pictures too. However it was EIGHTY-SEVEN today. WTF? It's October. Go the hell away heat. I was dying in my costume (and up in that theatre). It's still nearly 70 at Midnight and tomorrow it'll drop 30 degrees if the weather dude is right. that'll give me a helluva headache.


ETA - How sad am I NOT to be able to play with this halloween meme with making people little banners and drabbles and what not. I just didn't have time with the theatre and all. Pouts
