Thoughts before reading

I'll have to wait until after the finals to sit and read FMA 102 but I had some thoughts on what I'd find



From all the groaning, I'm sure someone died. I'm sure it's probably Roy. I've always known the chances of everyone surviving to the end was slim. given how often Arakawa draws royai and Ed/winry I was hoping those four plus Al would survive.

I know there's a chance that everyone would die and I'd never trust Arakawa enough to read anything else afterwards. Not that every story has to have a happy ending. However, I'm depressed enough that I just don't want to read sad stories. If it has a sad ending, however believable, I just don't want to add that to pile of emotion swirling in my head.

I'm thinking Izumi, Hohenheim or Roy or all of them didn't survive this.

I'm also thinking Roy at the least could lose his hands.

Also thinking Roy could be turned into Lust but maybe Father's past all that by now.

On the lighter side I still think roy and Izumi are siblings and the offspring of Hohenheim just because it was fun

I'm actually afraid to read this. My stomach hurts (or is that the flu shot)

I woke up wide awake at 5 Am and it was a test of sheer will (and the need for more sleep no matter what the body said) to not try and pull this thru the dial up.

I only ask one thing, please don't spoil me with your comments. if you have something spoilery please hold it until you see me post about reading it. THANKS

No spoilers! But I do know how you feel, the suspense around the wrap-up of a story I love always kills me, especially if you know it's an author with a history of being mean to his/her darlings (e.g. Joss Whedon XD). I was dreadful with Battlestar Galactica in particular.

All the waits between FMA chapters now have become long ones. Part of me just wants the whole thing at once in an epic 200 page splurge of action.

i hear you there. There is something to be said for reading a completed story already bound.

Yeah i ended up not trusting Joss during the Buffy & Angel years. he was good at it.

is reading now. Not what I expected so far and it seemed very unfair but then again so is life

Yes, very unfair!

I'm not as cut up as I would have been had Riza been killed off in 101, though. Enemy and I were saying that losing Riza would have been even meaner to Roy than what actually happens in 102.
