It wasn't as bad as it could have been. I didn't need surgery again that day. And, usually, when I'm about to go in, they give me a light sedative so that it doesn't freak me out.
As much as I love medicine, it's still an unnerving, to say the least, experience.
...*feels funny asking this* Might you have looked over the chapter link I sent you? I'm terribly, terribly anxious and would love to write more, but I need my betas to look over anything new.
