Just when you think you hit bottom
Oct. 15th, 2004 11:24 pmIt's possible to start digging. Sigh. I opened a letter from the student loan seeing a payment booklet which I did ask for one for the one med school loan willing to work with me and accept reasonable payments. It wasn't that. it was for the stuff in FL. 630$/month. Um I make 490$/month. I think they're gonna be disappointed. Mom's perusing cemeteries for child deaths so I can fake mine and assume a new identity...One last attempt needs to be made to get a lawyer I suppose as far as i'm concerned worker's comp SHOULD pay back the 60 grand to retrain me. I would never have had to return to school if I wasn't injured.
In better news I got another chapter of Built on Lies (thanks to
evil_little_dog ,
marenfic and
blaar_rosir for editing it) up. It could have gone last week but I was irritated by a review that said 'hey mother fucker, update already.' Okay that is NOT a way to impress me. Now, I'm thrilled someone wants more of my story. I could do without the total crassness.
Let me pimp some vid places. Now of course I'm mainly looking at the Connor and Angel vids (what's up with the Connor vidders also being C/A'er's? One would think they'd hate the boy) but there's plenty of other stuff to see (and the C/A and Spuffy fans on my flist will probably love a lot of this stuff) Bronze Ambition, check out One Day (totally perfect lyrics for Connor/Angel), When Evil (Angelus vid) Losing My Religion (lots of naked Lindsey) Dear One has a great mother/son vid in Darla & Connor and Man Smart, Woman Smarter is hysterical, a look at many of the men and ladies of the shows, Morbid Much which has plenty I looked at Inside Out, Angel's Son, Under the Bridge and Blame. I especially loved the first two. Midnight Tempest really is a C/A have but Astarte has a ton of other stuff (including a Dru/Angelus/Spike one I'm downloading as I type to Poe's music) Her Numb is also very fitting for Connor and Too Much Love WIll Kill you is a great Angel and all the loves of his life vid. And last but assuredly not least Aimee's Sanctuary, check out I Am which is a great Angel vid, One Step Closer, yes another Linkin Park Connor song (okay so now you know who to listen to for good lyrics for him) and The Champions to the Queen song for both shows. Nice stuff.
oh and lastly this meme
Name a CD you own that no one else on your friends list does:
Awake by Indigenous. As far as I know this was never sold in stores and so unless you were hanging around all Native American bands in the bars of South Dakota you do NOT have this blues cd (which by the way was my first cd ever)
Name a book you own that no one else on your friends list has:
I’ll be fair and NOT use my medical school ones. How about Sex Tips from a Dominatrix by Mistress Payne
Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no one else on your friends list does:
I would have said Ricky 6 but I’m pretty sure Masq has a copy now. Hmmm, how about Groom Lake because I can’t imagine ANYONE buying this Amy Acker/WIlliam Shatner piece of crap for any reason (it came in a set of vids I wanted)
Name a place you have visited that no one else on your friends list has:
To the very TOP of Crazyhorse monument (yes, the top, being at the bottom looking up doesn’t count). The volksmarch up the side of the mountain is only held once a year and I’m betting very few have ever done this and if not that the Mazomanie’s nude beach here in WI.

Date: 2004-10-16 07:44 am (UTC)And yes, Linkin Park is good for angst. I'm not sure what the heck to even call their style. Sometimes hip hop, sometimes heavy metal sounded, sometimes ballad or a mix of all three.
