the biggest whine? I downloaded [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog's [livejournal.com profile] fmagiftexchange story, didn't realize it had exactly the same file name as MY story for the same community and erased my own story. WAAAAH. Luckily i have her edits for my story and I used it but there are now weird coding here and there. Bah.

I wish i had time to write.

Rogue in the decorations

Rogue cleaning himself

Parents insisted I show a picture of him not looking fat

mom, our next door neighbor and I had to decorate the church. I ended up with having to remove the plastic sheaths from all the prayer votive glass candle holders to change advent blue for christmas white. this is fun whil some of those sheaths had lit candles in them that couldn't go out.

I also did all 12 of the windows and helped with the altar flowers. Examples of me being able to decorate when i want to below

the horrible child-made banners were NOT my idea

hard to take pictures of stained glass...

the altar

the stockings were hung

the tree BEFORE we start ripping into everything

apropos of nothing the asiago cheese stuffed olives i bought are amazingly salty and i have eaten half a pound of the buggers.

also i am full of limoncello and am eating the bread ELD made

Rogue looks a bit like Dickens, but Dickens isn't quite as large and has no brown fur except for a bit of tan near his nose.

Beautiful stained glass!

Yay for yummy noms.

Coincidentally, I had some tasty limoncello last night. Yum. OMG, what a scare! Glad you had an edit so could get it back. One of the advantages of having a beta. Enemy and I have actually deliberately not betaed each other this time in case one of us has the other's prompt (you could probably pick out hers and mine in like five seconds, we might as well have signed our names to them).

I hate losing work so much, research or writing. Usually my own fault, due to failure to hit the save button, followed by computer crash and facepalm.

I've said it before, Rogue aka Lord Lardbottom is one hell of a cat.

it's good stuff

yeah evil little dog and I have rescued each other a few times. Since she's running the thing she knew I didn't have hers and vice versa so we were safe to beta for each other.

I'm very very good at losing my work. Also i handwrite tons of it and then lose the pages...

Rogue sure is

Two years ago a rather drama-filled summer holiday in Italy I took with my wife's large family was single-handedly saved by the drinking of much limoncello. It's good stuff indeed.

Yeah, I figured ELD would know it was safe to beta each other. I think I recognised your prompts but not hers - her OTP were in a lot of the prompts though (which is a nice present for her because I know she gets a tad frustrated that not enough people write them as they should) so I think she's disguised. I'm excited about seeing all the posts over the next few days.

most of my drama-filled holidays (i.e. any time we're all together) is saved by much alcohol in general

yes.I'm pretty sure i know who's story i have but you're right it was hard to pick out ELD's. She thought I knew which it was and I'm like no... knowing me i'llbe up to 2 AM trying to get mine out tonight

Great post and pics!

Ah, the I Can't Clean My Ass Without Falling Over Syndrome. Cock had that until her thyroid went ape shit and she lost a lot of weight. Now she's just too stiff. Of course, she's old. Going to be 17 next year! :) (Don't know if she has even STARTED looking at colleges yet! Kids.)

[cough] He still looks fat. :D

And I realize I'm a parent to small children, but I'm still going to say that I like the crappy-quality kid stuff at the holidays. We all made it, it's tradition!!!

...Does Santa have a samurai sword in that second-to-last picture?

Wood paneling makes me think of my parents' old house in Indiana!!

The most magickal, and powerful, things are those made from the heart. And you have to admit, children can produce very powerful crafts...though they may look amateurish they evoke the most love.
