It's Wednesday then it's friday then THursday. My brain is bad too much to think about I guess. I haven't even planned where I'm going this weekend beyond "Marietta" What museums? What events? What's open saturday? Sunday? Monday? ugh.

Oh the irony the next episode of Emergency! after I posted last night was terribly misogynistic and a really bad take on feminism. But eh, one out of how many episodes?

What I Just Finished Reading:


The Wild Ways by Tanya Huff. THe plot was fine but the world building with the cousin incest and killing the men who don't fit the Aunties' mold is really not working for me

A Trip with Trouble by Diane Kelly an arc for a cozy mystery, it wasn't a bad mystery over all. It wasn't hard to figure out but it was enjoyable.



What I am Currently Reading:

Shatter the Sky by Rebecca Kim Wells, Lesbian fantasy I was supposed to read for netgalley a few years ago but they gave me a protected PDF that wouldn't open. Finally found it. It's not bad so far but I'm not entirely drawn in

Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine, it Jessica Whitly from Prodigal SOn was a middle class housewife this would be her story. I will say I've read books by real families of serial killers and nothing they went thru is as bad as what's in this book (as for being blamed)

American Goth by Cyn Mackley an amateur sleuth mystery (turns out the author is local and I might meet her next week) I like it so far with one HUGE caveat. It's uber Catholic and is getting a little too big into slut and kink shaming.




What I Plan to Read Next: Six Feet Deep Dish, one of the other arcs I have or whatever comes from the library next
