Author’s Note -- Thanks to evil_little_dog for the beta. This was written for Ruuger for the 2012 remix at remixers_lounge for the 2012 challenge. I remixed her story And Sisyphus Wept here. It’s a future story with an unnamed Slayer. I chose to leave her unnamed. I did, however, name her sister so it would be less confusing which ‘she’ I’m talking about. I went with a female name that’s been popular for centuries.

In the original, we see the story unfold through Spike’s eyes and even though this young girl has no name she is a strong and fascinating character. I wanted to look at things through her eyes. Another story that captured my attention was We Make Our Own Magic and while I couldn’t think of a good way to remix it, I just wanted to point it out because of the subject matter. It’s an interesting look at Finnish history complete with research notes and I wanted to recommend it highly.
