Son of a....
Jan. 8th, 2010 06:14 pmstarted cleaning up the kitchen only to discover a mouse has moved in.
And Roy still won't come in the house.
not sure when I'll be able to get out of here to get poison. I do have traps. They've NEVER worked in the past mind you.
I thought I heard something last night.
I hate vermin

Date: 2010-01-09 04:00 pm (UTC)I don't know about Roy. I'm almost inclined to say that it sounds like someone took him in their house and did something evile to him. So now he doesn't want to stay in even when it's super cold and awful. If he seems afraid of being inside, he may need some coddling in the house to make him feel more confident about being in there with you.
Pet him while he's eating and see if he ducks or avoids you. If he ducks that's generally a good indication that someone has been hitting him or worse kicking him.

Date: 2010-01-09 04:12 pm (UTC)Roy has ALWAYS ducked when you try to pet his head. He doesn't mind if you touch his body. This fear of the house started last year. I thought maybe something sprayed near the door but no.
everyone here loves him and feeds him and I'm beginning to thinl that's the problem. He has options. He really likes Van and being surrounded by cigarette smoke
