I was nervous last night and am nervous again. January + rain + my location = ice storm all too often.

was nearly hospitalized last year from carbon monoxide poisoning. would like not to have to do thru that again.

please be snowing if you must release the pent up humidity. at least that usually doesn't cut my power.

There's been entirely too much ice this winter ...

luckily not here. Snow I don't care about. I can drive in it, ON it if need be, but ice...shudders.

Ice storms leave the world looking like something out of a fairy-tell land of crystalline trees and what not b ut damn, the devestation. Nearly 100 people died in this area last ice storm

Emily was without power for a couple of weeks after that ice storm of a year ago, and they had it lucky compared to other people in the Missouri-Kentucky area.
