Date: 2010-02-08 06:07 pm (UTC)Yes, that's its precedence in our family. *giggles*
But congrats on your team winning. The only time I give a damn is when the Patriots are playing because I have a huge love for New England, in general.
I should also say I care if someone and I have a bet, for the obvious reasons.
I'm glad your living room is livable again. My mother actually just called to ask if I wanted to make some money cleaning her room (it's a bloody disaster area and probably a fire hazard) and I quickly reminded her that when I wanted to move all of her things from downstairs to her room and clean up the downstairs doing so, she shot me down, saying she was going to do it herself (*snort*) and not to touch anything.
I usually trip on something when I go in there. I loathe doing so. She's probably why I can't have anything out of place for more than two days before putting it where it belongs.
How quickly the mind forgets...
Are you free, by any chance?

I'm not particularly free and not likely to be so any time soon I'm afraid

Okay. Just let me know when you are. I'll fiddle with it and proofread because I'm a perfectionist until then.

Date: 2010-02-08 07:03 pm (UTC)That was the link I gave you in one of my previous comments, but it's sitting right in my journal. I'm not finished with the chapter because I haven't accomplished my goal of everyone realizing that Ducky is Ed's grandson, per se, or Ed waking up in general.
Right now, the Gibbs-Elric family is pretty much getting settled.
Um, is it established as to whether or not Gibbs lives on-base or just drives in every morning? I got curious about that while Al was looking around as they went inside.

Date: 2010-02-08 07:15 pm (UTC)Gibbs lives off base and drives. he has a house with a basement (naturally) it's also been established several times he never locks his door. Ziva has roamed in, old girlfriends and I'm not sure if you're watching this season but it happened again last week (I HATE this new character they've introducted)

Date: 2010-02-08 07:25 pm (UTC)Nope, in regard to this season or the last one or anyone past early-season two because I'm distracted despite my urge to write tons of NCIS crossovers, of late. That's possibly been the distraction, actually.
I've only watched one episode (I think it was this season -- the one with the possible offspring *was in love, naturally*), but I did think about those redheaded girlfriends of his and I think I'm going to write him as being in-between them at the moment, but he and Gracia will have a talk about what's been going on in his life while she's been in Amestris.
I'm thinking she'll try to be understanding, but jealousy will keep rearing its ugly head throughout the conversation -- it can't be helped...*giggles*
Question: did you get that PM I sent you from the Pit of Voles with the link to that lovely story about Gibbs and his dad? I loved that one and hoped you would, too.
