i hurt all over. I swear i was dragged behind a bus. I'm nauseated (more from stomach issues than illness) and I'm so tired that after I drew a bath of epsom salts and eucalyptus to relax in, I nearly dropped my book in three times before i gave up.

My story is back for edits. Not tonight...just no. There are many (mostly piddly crap. I swear I no longer know where a comma belongs...)

It was weird. Today i was at the library and this tutor was trying to engage her pupil (I'd place her at 12-14) and she kept saying over and over again all you have to do is write this stuff from the map onto the worksheet. do you understand? And all the kid would say is 'can't i go now?' then she sat there, head down arms crossed, tossing her head around for the next 20 minutes refusing to even pick up a pencil. WOw. I honestly wanted to go over and pick up the book and beat her with it. I could not handle that.

THen finally the parents came and while they're getting help for their daughter (i'm wondering if the SCHOOL is paying for this in some manner or welfare) the whole family stank. THey were filthy. The tutor needed bonus pay for this.

Then I went to walmart and heard this crashing and screaming and at first i thought someone was being arrested. Then I realized I knew the tone of voice. If you have never worked in a mental hospital I'm not sure i can describe it but so many people with various mental and developmental issues had this odd timbre to their voice. I went to see. They said he was having a seizure (this was like no seizure I had seen) I did see him later and i was right, definitely had developmental issues and I'm thinking after that major episode WHY the hell didn't they take him home. He destroyed half the electronics dept then the family just kept him waltzing along as they shopped...

I wonder if the kid getting tutored was costing $$ to be that lazy. I'd be PISSED if I was the parent and NOT at the tutor.

Feel better, rest up and the commas will be there for you tomorrow. Better to look at it with fresh eyes.

I could not handle that.

I can't even handle it when they want to learn but aren't getting it. I train people at work now and I've no patience for when they can't pick it up quickly, I'd have been an awful teacher.

i hear you. I get so frustrated with my students but my god that girl's attitude...see this is why I don't double my salary and work for middle schools. Holy hell I'd kill them all
