This isn't too hard, at least when it comes to who to kill. THere isn't anyone in Vampire Knights I want to spare. They now annoy me just that much. Sorry Kaname, you are the least annoying of the bunch but still, you're the one who has to die.



Now it gets harder. WHo to marry and who to fuck. You know, given the flexibilty of these two, those don't have to be exclusive things. But in the end, poor Lavi will eventually have to become the remote and isolate Bookman. I'll go with marrying Roy. Who knows, I could become first lady that way. You know he's got to be pretty fiery in bed and he's smart as a whip so that's a good thing. He's got the dark looks I like as well so Roy would be the smart choice. He's got loyal men (am I sharing with Riza? Hmmm that's ok too) and my mother in law would totally kick ass.




As for delightfully young, barely legal Lavi, take a look at him. He's just so damn cute and I don't even like redheads. He's bubbly. He's fun. He's limber and acrobatic and he's no dummy either. Imagine the enthusiasm he brings to bed. It would be tiring in all the best ways




note: both the pictures of Roy and Lavi (along with one of the Saiyuki boys) are used to cover up the glass in my door so I can hide from students if need be

Aw, poor Kaname (he is pretty though).

First Lady could be really fun. Plus you'd get to look at his subordinates all day (can we say Riza and Jean? Dayum.).

i'm not sure i got that far in the manga. Aidou, he's the one who has a massive crush on Kaname isn't he? That ship made more sense. Yuuki is another one that started out promising as a female then ended up more wishy than Lenalee.

Aidou is the cute little sparkly, blonde one that totally has a thing for Kaname (and can we blame him?). Yuuki could have been great, but wasn't. Especially after she awakened. Bleh. Zero is all sort for angsty, emo fun though.

yeah I rather liked Aidou. I never got as far as Yuuki awakening. I gave up when she totally disobeyed Kaname's warnings at a vamp party and nearly died. I'm like dear god she's stupid.

i think in WI you can be 16 with permission but 18 over all. I think (at least when I researched it) you could be 16 and drink in Ireland. Killian misses that more. He actually doesn't want sex

In the UK, it's sixteen for gay and straight sex (lesbian sex=no age of consent. Doesn't legally exist, man), eighteen for drinking. However, in practice most people who do drink are drinking in pubs from sixteen onwards (not as hot on ID as in the States. Drink-driving is much less common here, though, even teenagers are mostly sensible about it). Age of consent for both drinking and sexing are lower in some parts of Europe. My Spanish buddy sara_rojo told me the age of consent for sex in Spain is twelve.

Well, obviously nobody wants to see that. When the age of consent has been debated in the UK (for instance when it was lowered for gay sex from 21 to 18, then 16 to match the age for straight sex) then the issue that comes up is whether higher legal ages of consent do make teenagers less likely to have sex and/or protect them from predatory adults. I'm not defending the Spanish law, but I think that the best ways of protecting teenagers and encouraging them to make responsible choices are quite a complicated subject, probably better tackled in a lengthy article than in a comment thread? Not picking you up for commenting, which was fair enough, but I just wanted to reassure you that I do think about these things.

Japan's sex and censorship laws never cease to amaze me. You can't show pubic hair but you can have the most spectacular range of pervy things.

Not in the UK it doesn't. There's an old urban legend that it didn't end up illegal because when she came to sign the law, Queen Victoria didn't get how two ladies could do it, and nobody wanted to explain to her. Apparently this is sadly untrue.

London has good public transport but where I come from in the sticks, we always had to get cabs or drive home. We were drinking in pubs from fifteen/sixteen, but once people started driving at seventeen, there was always a designated driver, usually the same person most of the time because the poor sod was the only person with the car. Bear in mind that the sticks in most of the UK isn't anything like as remote as in the USA - you're usually within half an hour's walk/a five minute drive of the next village. I think more of a car culture in the US is definitely a factor. I've noticed visiting friends in LA too. The designated driver has one less cocktail than everyone else, and I weep with terror.

You guys have some truly amazing wilderness, though. There's just nothing like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone anywhere else in the world. And such an incredible range of climates and natural beauty in one country. I'm not sure how much that consoles you when you're trying to get a reliable broadband connection, but still?
