Had to go to the Ob/Gyn today. She took one listen to me and sent me for a chest x-ray. The good news, the pneumonia is resolving. Bad news, I have another breast lump.

No real need to panic. Boob squishy is next week. I have fibrocystic breast disease so lumps are pretty common for me. Taken seriously yes, panicked over no.

The real concern is my childless state. It only sets you up for every kind of gynecological cancer there is. (thanks nature. You're a peach)

Ugh. I don't want babies. Please don't scare me into it. XD

Hope lump is nothing to be concerned about.

Times like this, I wish I had a penis. *waits for you to tell me I would be a prime candidate for all male hormone related cancers*

hahaha, well a very high number of men will end up with benign prostatic hypertrophy or cancer

BUT many studies suggest that the treatment/prevention of BPH is MASTURBATION. OMG. Why can't women have a disease that could be prevented this way?

Meh. I got a kid and it gave me fibroids, one of which is currently the size of a grapefruit. And abnormal mammogram. It's all about the fun of life as a woman. Grumble.

Yeah, I remember Dr. Willie telling me I ought to have a baby or two, just to help prevent me getting cervical cancer again.

Sorry, Dr. Willie, there are times when I'd rather have you poking lasers up my body than being poked by other things that leave potential children behind.

That will be the most awesome chemo ward ever! All these bald fangirls terrorizing the doctors and nurses!
Fandom nights. Claiming to be Deltans. Wearing fannish t-shirts. Neon wigs. Lots of support.

Yeah, nature socks it to women both ways. Having kids creates some problems, not having them causes others. I think nature likes to remind us that we're essentially breeding machines that should die in our forties once we're past reproductive age. Stupid nature.
