people hate snow
Mar. 15th, 2010 09:51 pmI don't. I hate THIS. This horrible cold drizzle that seeps into your joints and makes life miserable. I'm in so much pain today I could hardly walk. it put a dent in mom and I shopping around.
I DID get a new OPI color Royal Rajah Ruby that looks like the color of fresh blood in the bottle. I hope it looks like I've been dipping my claws. I'll put in on for the casino tomorrow.
In fact I couldn't have put up your springkink Enemy, because it's St. Paddy's day and I'm spending it in the casino. It was post story or go for free food, booze and gambling. I wasn't passing that up. Lucky Uncle isn't so lucky in the real world. All the rain in OH has flooded his lake house and he has to run down there to pull up the dock. So he gave me his casino player's card with 100$ of free play. WHOO HOO. Go me. (it's only good tomorrow so he's like play away)

So not to play favorites among my flist (but seriously you can find a whole host of good writers there), let me stick to the pros. I admire Stephen King, Anne Perry, C.S. Harris, J.K. Rowling, Tony Hillerman, Barbara Hambly, Dean Koontz and so many others. I don't know what to tell you about them but if you like mystery, horror fantasy or urban fantasy you can't go wrong with these guys.
16. Do you write romantic relationships? How do you do with those, and how “far” are you willing to go in your writing? ;)
Since I'm currently publishing erotica, I go all the way. I do write romance and outside of the erotica, it's really a subplot. Most of my stories might have some kind of attraction in the background but that's about it. Even in the erotica, I wouldn’t' call most of them romances. I'm not interested in romance as a genre but as a subplot I can handle it.
17. Favorite protagonist and why! Honestly, I don't like playing favorites but if I had to pick one, my vampire, Maddelena. She's a lot like me (well, I'm not as slutty) . She's smart and her novel is the first I wrote that I honestly think is bookshelf worthy
18. Favorite antagonist and why! Either Lord Hakan from my novel with evil_little_dog or Mairin from my werewolf YA. Both are fairly well developed (Hakan more so) and actually horrifically villain-like. I feel I do villains bad so I'm pretty proud of these two.
