I forgot to mention in the afternoon post that I tried to use the powerade vending machine today but it was BROKEN. Gah. I really needed it. One of my students ran downstairs and got me a vitamin water but it's not the same. I did go buy more broth and gatorade. That's helping me to feel almost human. I'm not out of the woods but I'm almost handling the semisolids.

I am mildly accomplished tonight though. I got up my Lavi springkink story and I fixed up the Hei/Misaki and the Roy/Hughes ones. Go me. Go beta's.

22. Tell us about one scene between your characters that you've never written or told anyone about before! Serious or not.

Dancing/singing scenes. I think so many of my characters would love to sing and dance but those don’t translate well into the written word, especially dance. It’s so visual. I’ve taken them to dances but the action/dialogue concentrates on something else.

I would love to write the scene were Placid thinks the diamond he’s been putting on layaway for Melantha has gotten sold but it’s his brother who bought it to save it from someone with the full asking price.



23. How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?

This isn’t answerable really. It takes as long as it takes. Some go fast. Some take forever. I’m the master of not finishing my novels and it has to stop.

I'm with you on the writing. Sometimes it flows like water and it's ridiculously hard to contain and sometimes it just CREEPS and it's like pulling teeth!

Please don't die. Also, Gatorade is amazing stuff (though super, super gross). I was dying once and I told my friend to bring me some Gatorade. They thought I was mad but did so. Totally helped me feel somewhat human again.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of Gatorade and I don't like that we have a vending machine for it (people shouldn't be drinking it like water) but when you're dehydrating it's great stuff.

sadly I've taken a turn for the worst. OMG I feel awful
