listless and too 'official' of a day

The listlessness in part is due to the long break I have at work but it's carrying over. I realized I never finished one of those character memes. I did it for my original characters but now I can't find the fanfic version. I don't kn ow if I typed it and lost it or what. I can't get anything done though at night. I'm getting tired of this. I'm usually so good at night but since feb and the big bang fic I can't do shit.

Part of the listlessness is due to my back pain. My right leg is very weak from it and I start therapy next week. I had to run for a pain patch today then the day took a turn for the worse



with a period that came early and the only things Foodland had were tampons and cheapo pads. Not trusting them I decided to remind myself why i loathe tampons. Yeah, okay, they feel like you're using a brillo pad, they leak like a sieve and they don't stay where they're put. should have bought the cheapo pads...

The offical came in with a) getting a royalty check (yay)
b) getting state refund (yay)
c) getting federal refund (boo, the loans took all 2500 of it)

I wish I knew why I can't concentrate.

pinch seems to be intact. I noticed last night trying to save case studies to my flash it was reading like it was the lexar flash NOT the scandisk (how the hell it was doing that I have no idea) it didn't save to either flash drive. luckily i thought it was being weird so i emailed it to myself

Woo hoo for royalty check but bleurgh for having to deal with period when out. I hate it when that happens. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself about your powers of concentration today, even if it's a longer term thing - the first day of my period I'm always totally unproductive.

Tylenol gets mainlined. occasionally so does the heating pad (or today the thermacare patch which is no longer a sticky pad. ARGH. it keeps rolling into a useless lump)

where would I be without wacky Brit spelling or wacky Brit names. Can't decide if Chris's new bar is on spanker lane or wham bottom lane (or do they intersect...)

I had to look up what's in Tylenol as we don't have that brand ... apparently acetaminophen (paracetamol to the Brits) and possibly codeine according to Prof Wikipedia? I have tranexamic acid on prescription and swear by it in combination with mefenamic acid/diclofenac, a bucket of coffee and sugary things. Of course before I was going out with a doctor, I used to just take my paracetamol and whine a lot. XD H says doctors in general find doctors' relatives can be annoying to treat - a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

There's a lane in Oxford called Friar's Entry. I wouldn't be surprised if the pun's intentional. And a friend of mine used to live in Penistone, Yorkshire (pronounced pen-iston). Excited at the prospect of more Chris fic, from the sound of it post-manga? What's this, then?

yeah i should have just called it acetaminophen. I can't take any NSAIDs because of my rotten stomach so I'm stuck with that one. luckily it works well enough for me

I think Friar's entry was on the list (mostly made up of English and Australian lists). there are actually TWO post-manga stories that will have Chris

One was started long time ago, for christmas 08 and never finished so it'll be an AU as far as her relation to Roy is. (that bar is on Climax street which is in Pittsburgh...) and the other is my help_haiti

Glad it works for you. I'm lucky that I don't really have issues with NSAIDs, I know Helen was reluctant to give them in A & E (ER) because a lot of people do.
