Time Line – manga based, future fic, based heavily on the dark future Riza predicted should Roy attain his goals. Spoilers for manga beyond #38.

Author’s Note – This was originally written for Yule 2006 (yes seriously), written in speculation of Riza's revelations to Edward about the Ishbalan war and her own fears for the future. So naturally there is a whole lot of stuff that's been jossed since then (most notably Roy's parentage) but people really enjoyed this story. I've always wanted to complete the sequel to it so when littlechemist01 offered up art, I decided this would be one I would really like to see have an illustration. And now it does. (it's in chapter four if you'd like to skip ahead to it). I thought I'd share this again on my LJ and with a couple communities I know I wasn't in back then. New people might still very much like it and some old fans might want to see it again (now with art!)
