Hotter than hell in here. I hope it killed the mouse that I forgot to put the poison out for. Must do that now while Kanda is still out of the house.

He wants me so bad. I let him in for a while. He's the next to go to the vet. He's so thin that I'm afraid he has FIV. Then again I'm sure he has worms, fleas, ticks. BUt he's so tame now that getting him to the vet won't be an issue. paying is another thing.

They finally fixed my porch after 3 years. I have rails again but no divider between me and my neighbor. ah well in this heat I can't blame them for going slow.

Got home to have calls from Princess Cruise Line credit and Verizon. Called them back. No one knows why I was called (I suspect it had to do with my bill pay fucking up). Get this, Verizon finally worked today (obviously) and at home in the Pittsburgh area i had ZERO bars. ZERO. My dad worked as teh designer that put up most of Verizon's towers in that area. he knows how many they have so there goes Verizon's theories as to why this doesn't work

I left half my shit in the car. It's supposed to cool off by nearly 20 degrees (since it was 99 today) tomorrow and rain. I'll lug in the rain

Verizon sucks big time. I used to have a Verizon cell phone, and the only place it would work in this part of the county....get this...was 6 miles from my house ON the bridge over 7 highway. Verizon kept claiming there was nothing wrong with the phone, well....something sure as hell was wrong. I dumped them...went with AT&T...same problem. Got a Tracfone...only worked in my driveway. Wound up going to Net10...oddly enough it works just fine in the house, on the porch, in the driveway...everywhere I go.

Verizon can kiss my Irish ass and proclaim it delicious, but I'll still tell everyone I meet that Verizon is a big frickin piece of junk.

oh i know that from experience too. sadly they were literally the only high speed here. i'd ditch them in a heart beat

If I can fill you with hope, the heat broke today and it was only 88 (and it rained some). So hopefully it'll come your way soon - so long as I don't get another heat wave.

I lost Ling (and Kyo). Kanda was too young and too feral for getting to the vet and boarding but he's taming up now. so lets see, i'll get this one his shots, neutering and pay out hundreds and he'll disappear too...
