1. There was crap at the farmers' market today. I got there a little late but that wouldn't have mattered. it was all canned (i.e as in home canning) and jellies. I don't trust canned goods unless i KNOW who did it. Got some honey though.

2. I can't stop getting library books. I have so many of my own to read, seriously so many I'm sick of looking at them. I just want to read them and donate them but...

3. Lucky Uncle wants to help me get a job at the local casino back home dealing blackjack or roulette. I would make ten grand more than I do teaching... God help me I'm seriously tempted.

4. It's pouring. I moved my plants out into it and felt something brush my arm. Ginko the one-eyed kitten's mom was rubbing on me. She's feral...until today when suddenly she wanted me to pet her in the worst way. Well yay. That means i CAN tame her up and put her in a shelter. Ginko's bad eye is opening back up. Maybe he won't lose it...

5. I'm in my I can't write worth crap phase. bah. Or maybe it's the I don't have the feedback I want phase (my writers group takes a several weeks to turn it around for a variety of reasons that I agree with but I'm impatient. this is what fanfic has done to me). or is it the rejection notice...you know, no. I sort of expected that one.

6. I feel like I'm being extra crabby in my critique group this time out.

Actually the Meadows. It's closer to me than the Rivers and it's a nicer casino though the Rivers has the view. As in the Meadows race track

Not much to say on the other stuff. Except your writing is not crap. I like a lot of it even if I don't have time to read it all. The stuff I'm not that into has nothing to do with the writing either. Just not what I'm into, ne?

Ginko probably has chlamydial conjunctivitis. It happens a lot with kittens that get handled too much by grubby little hands. Kittens can loose their eyes to it, but it's easy to treat with a little gentle cleaning with saline solution, or water with a little boric acid in it. If it's starting to clear up and he'll let you handle it, you could probably just wipe it once a day with a cotton ball soaked in saline and that will help it heal up pretty quickly. I hope that's helpful and not just more information that you already know.

Yes I think that's what he has too but his sister and brother both died. He's going to the vet on saturday probably with broken b ones if the fucktards next door don't pay attention to their 2 year old who keeps THROWING the kitten
