Okay so I think in spite of my whining that I'll have Girl saves boy done tonight and there might be an extension on the saiyuki big bang (crosses fingers) so what I need from you all is this:

It is possible to read Urey Rockbell's grave for dates (i'm thinking it wasn't even visible for his name).

I'm trying to figure out how old he'd be when Roy is 8 so I guess 20 years before Ed joins the military.

I think Urey would have been in his mid 20's when he died so probably roughly 10 years older than Roy on the outisde, probably more like 5 years older.

what do you guys think? it's hard to tell since granny looked ridiculously old to have a son that age. hell even if she had Urey in her 40's she shouldn't have looked as old as she did (granted i know that's a commen technique to show age and respect and all that jazz but still). I have no idea how old she would have been 20 years before Ed joined the military.

yes i need all this for lady fest. you'll see why

i might have to make Roy younger. I want Urey around 13-14, young enough to still be with mom, old enough to be a pain in the ass

This wiki (http://fma.wikia.com/wiki/Urey_Rockbell) puts him at 35 when he died, and gives birth year and death year and stuff. I don't know what the source of that info is, though.

thanks. yeah now that i think about it, he'd have to be at least 30 or he fathered winry at a scary young age. hmmm rethinks plot. this ain't gonna work

Arakawa didn't like timelines. I think she should rethink that. there is so much messed up crap when you look closely at things
