made it to PA

with minimal fuss. Soul went to the back of the box, shoved his head in it and refused to look at me for 4 hours. Eventually he fell asleep on his back, eyes half open, mouth gaping.he looked dead. Kanda, on the other hand, was right at the gate. PET ME. He didn't start crying until we hit Athens (an hour out) but didn't do it long.

Kanda came out of the box once we got here but Soul was having none of that. Both of them hid immediately at grandma's house.I'll go back down there with them later.

I'm oddly not tired and I should be. I couldn't sleep last night. fell asleep after 4 Am and was up by 8...whatever.

ETA - a big yay to the repeal of don't ask don't tell





it's probably cheating but this is where I lived in Three Lakes WI. I loved the woods behind the house (which had the sounds of a crying old woman in it a lot...) the buffish land is the old pool someone threw gold fish into. they were proper koi by this time and I named them after buffy characters

Poor Soul! I would be a sucker for that little dude. But glad you made it safe. Wonder what he thinks of the house so far?

And YAY to the repeal of DADT. I heard from Helen when we got home from the party last night and she checked the interweb. Perhaps we should all celebrate very geekily with some Roy/Maes?

soul wouldn't know. he won't come out from behind the couch. I'm still trying to figure out who was moving furniture upstairs. I told mom that and her eyes bugged out. She said 'your grandmother is ALWAYS telling us that and no one believed her.'

trust me mom it was freaking Kanda out too.
