went to see my aunt who has liver failure today (mom's friend) and her identical twin had a severe angina attack. sigh.I'm afraid she won't outlive her twin by long.

Rogue got a deep puncture in his neck from a cat fight. geez.

But in better news I sold two dozen copies of Crisis in Faith, okay that's not many but still, it'sbetter news than anything else

Also I have stuffed olives so I'm VERY happy.

I finally realized why Soul Eater's not-so-hot art looked familiar. It's the same mangaka who did B. Ichi which I had to review for manga news and didn't like. (the anime art is much better but the manga story is superior). Ah well, at least the story is good


Got my hair cut today. much of it was very dead and nasty at this point.

I spotted the haircut right off. The blunt bob is a new look, and if your hair is thinning I sure can't tell it from the photo.

Sad news about the twins. I wonder if elderly twins have the same tendency to not outlive each other that old married couples do. Either way, I'm sorry your mother is losing a friend. My grandmother said the most depressing thing about aging is outliving everybody you're close to, and I'm sure she's right. Still, it's better to be the mourner than the mourned.
