one big ouchie

that hip I spent half the spring in rehab for is acting back up a little until two night ago when it felt someone pulled my leg off. It's quite a large ouchie right now.

Soul has finally adjusted somewhat but now Kanda is jealous. I've been putting Soul on the bed with me to get him used to being held (which has gone away, he liked being held up until three days before we came here, that's when the hiding crap started) but Kanda is all shades of green about this (as if he's not on the bed too)

Mom and I went shopping and returned things (I'd rather have stayed home and work on my syllabi since they are not done...). I did get a few more nice tops at Macy's but it was Marshall's where I scored big. For 5$ i got a collection of TEN Jackie Chan movies (the scary shot-in-China early crap) and for 4$ a collection of Bruce Li & Jackie Chan (only two overlapping movies) That's like 20 hours of Hong Kong fight movie glory.

Why is it that when I get my book club flyers and get a book from the library it's good but when I have to buy one since the library doesn't have it, the book sucks donkey. I'm reading one right now that is so bad I have no idea how it was published let alone second in a series...

Man, I am so jealous. That would be awesome to get a bunch of the Hong Kong movies for 9 bucks. I was thinking of looking for the dvds.

Truthfully, it doesn't look like you. It sort of does, but it's the kind of pic where I could easily believe it was a relative.

I've picked up so much crap from the library that I'm permanently gun-shy about spending money on fiction books anymore. I'm fighting it out with Mercedes Lackey right now. I thought she'd be good, since she has so many books on the shelves and I've heard her name so much, but I'm about to return _Firebird_ without reading past the first chapter. Ugh.

Mercedes Lackey was good when I was 20 for about 3 books... I DO get most of my books at the library but I get sucked in. it sounds SO GOOD then i get them and it's like WTF
