SNOW DAY

I got up, saw the big red placard on the school website (yes I turned the computer on hoping before I even hit the bathroom), went back to bed.

WHEEE. I considered making another Lumpy the snowman in celebration but really I need to caulk the damaged windows (i.e. all of them. I swear he caulked them with marizapan) and maybe get the plastic up if the caulk dries in time.

Speaking of snow, it occured to me Soul's never seen it. I went out and got him a handful. He was unimpressed. I put it on his head just to see what he'd do. Give me a disdainful look and shake it off.

Yay for snowdays! You deserved a break. We're on our fourth consecutive one here, and while I am always pleased to have a vacation, it's not so great when you're meant to be preparing for graduation and all. We've missed three exams, and there's also a project due one week from today that can only be done in the campus computer lab. Cue me tearing my hair out in stress.

LOL Soul. That cat *shakes head* Spock (my cat) was actually very into the snow. He kept trying to escape the house and go play in it!

I know, I'm sort of terrified about going back because of how behind we are. I'm about 95% sure the campus will be opened tomorrow, and I've already gotten emails from different profs saying 'yeah, I know we're behind, but expect EVERY EXAM YOU MISSED on whatever day we get back'. Curse my weird ass schedule!

Cats are so amusing! My dog, a pitbull, is actually the only animal in the house terrified of the snow. We have to literally drag her outside to do her business, and then once she's done, she stands at the fence and HOWLS until someone comes and gets her.

Not. Even. Fair. OU never shuts down, so I have to drive up there and I am SICK. I skipped out on going on Tuesday (Parkersburg to Athens in a snowstorm? No thanks.) and so I have no choice today, since my Thursdays are the same classes as Tuesdays and I can't miss both days in one week.

Ozzy is unimpressed with snow too. He's above it./ Annabelle loves cubes of ice for treats so she thinks someone has given her a whole back yard of treats when it snows. It's kind of hilarious.
