I got the laundry done then came home, saw the state of my apartment, whined a little, then crashed on the couch with all three cats (jealous bastards, they ALL had to be on top of me) and my netbook and caught up on a week's worth of tv. By the end i could no longer feel my legs because there were cats everywhere.

My idiot neighbors are moving and taking their fear biting dog with them. Wonders if they'll take Oscar. I guess i'll know next week if I'll have another cat to rehome.

I was going to ramble on about some quasi-meta but then my sugar crashed in a big way and I'm now brain dead. Instead I'll twirl around and go yay, i figured out how to solve my FMA bigbang issues. See, originally, in my head, years ago, where I am now in the story was still going to be the midway point (yeah like nearly 30K in...) but I realize that this is the end. I have like one, maybe two chapters more. If I want to do the stuff I had in my head with Roy and his family (and to give a complete resolution to some of Al's issues) that just can't happen in this story. Maybe if someone asks for a sequel as people are wont to do. Something had to give and it was that subplot that wasn't truly needed (so yeah bob_fish you can give up reading it now)

Every third saturday the two librarians I like are there (i.e. the ones who actually have a clue what's going on). I brought up an entire series of manga to donate. well it's only 4 books and they sort of sucked (I tend to give books that don't suck to friends who would enjoy them all else goes to the library or halfprice book store) I was B. Ichi by the same guy who does Soul Eater and if you think his art was bad in SE in the beginning (and it was) you should see this one. Yuck. It wouldn't have been a bad story if they had been maybe 2 books. too much senseless/boring fight scenes not enough plot but a decent idea.

I also asked them about doing my Welsh presentation there and they're all for it. I figured if I had at least one other place besides my school that wanted to promote my research trip I'd look better. I think I'm going to look at the standing stones since between Queen Elizabeth I and her dad not much is left of the catholic strongholds.
