Washing Away

I lay awake half the night listening to the creek going UNDER my bedroom. the apt has a crawl space below it. Apparently it now has a RIVER below it. thank god the landlord dug out Rocky Creek trying to divert the water a bit or else this would be in my apt.

I have 3 bridges to cross to get off my property. I barely made it. It's still bucketing down. Some students have called off. I had to park in a lake that was the faculty parking.

People are getting buried in snow. I'm washing away.

And it feels like spring it was in the high 60's at 8 am.

wonders if i'll make it back to the apt

i see. i do remember a trip that got canceled. i thought it was out of state but we did go to GA twice...

That was the trip. We went to Atlanta once, and with silvrethorn to Savannah once.
