1. laundry

2. lie around listening to jazz and drinking tea

3. writing bigbang. Still not done but closer but i'm not sure how believable the end will be.

for my writing friends [livejournal.com profile] origfic_bingo is still giving out cards this week. If you wanted to sign up and work some prompt writing now is the time.

Speaking of writing i need to get my butt moving on that space pirate thing or i won't finish IT either. I can't even say if i was home all day i'd get my writing done since i was home most of the today and i have an attention span of a gnat.

Reading some really lush descriptions lately I've realized doing a lot of short stories has truncated my abilities. Don't get me wrong you need description in a short story too but with low word counts you don't have the time to be sprawling and lush like a gothic mansion

The skeletal winter remains of Richard Brothers apple farm. I liked this shot and wish there was a place to pull over so I could have gotten a more centered view

Hey you needed a lazy day!

I had one today as well...amazingly enough. I had actually forgotten how to have one of those days! Which meant it had been way too long since the last one. Watched TV, took a nap, read a book, more TV, fiddled around on FB, and played some WoW...leveled up a couple of notches.

Ishte used to get on my case about not having a "Namma Day", and seemed dismayed I didn't know how to relax. Working on it still.

If we wanted to make it sound more "legitimate" we could call it a "mental health day". But I far prefer Ishte's word for it "Namma Day"

However one calls it, it is definitely needed for our overall well being.

Those trees are absolutely gorgeous!

Sounds like it was nice day off. Nothing wrong with one of those! ^^

Ah, the reminders of home. :) Love the photo. Apple trees have ALWAYS been a favorite of mine. We had them in WV and I used to climb one of them, wedge myself in the branches and spend all day reading. Yes, even as a kid I was a nerdy bookworm.

Like you, I didn't do diddly shit. I drew a comic - when I had enough time to do at least a month's worth - and painted. Whee. :P

my granny had several apple trees and I would eat the green ones til I got sick. My uncle's Golden Retriever would leap up into the low branchs and swing like a pendulum to knock down the apples for himself.

yeah tell me about it. I could have finished that story yesterday. i blow
