tony the tiger is in the freezer

When I got home I noticed immediately that Tony the Tiger (a huge stuff tiger that dad dragged into mercy hospital the day I was born and Pookie (my first teddy) were missing. Apparently freezing stuffed animals kills the dust mites. Good to know. Poor Tony, stuffed in a freezer like a murder victim we're trying to hide.

It was a boring do nothing day. My brother's surgery went okay but not sure if it'll work. My aunt may be coming home from the hospital...for the last time.

The only other things accomplished were washing the cat (the computer won't read the sd card tonight, pictures another time) and coloring my hair and making vegeterian version of pho. Oh and google earthed all over Wales to look at the college there.

I did not know that about dust mites. I hope you took pictures of them in the freezer. It sounds like a cop drama.

Oh, I'd forgotten about that trick to kill dust mites. Too bad we couldn't freeze the whole Lodge in Florida.

I had catfish last week and it was sooo yummy. My favorite freshwater fish, indeed...if prepared properly (i.e., doesn't taste like mud).

I’d heard that about freezing dust mites in the freezer, and I’d always felt sorry for the poor animals. Does freezing damage them? Don’t forget to warm them up before cuddling…
