Really world? Really?
Apr. 11th, 2011 10:23 pmwell they didn't put my brother in but he has to see the surgeon tomorrow or wed. I dunno.
and to top it off
my 16 year old cousin’s friend was killed. I met the girl a couple of times. My cousin's known her since preschool and she's devestated. I lost some of my friends in H.S. at that age and I still remember that pain.
I dislocated my finger today. Not sure how.I was pointing at the leg models inlab and the whole finger just bent in half. It's one of my arthritic fingers and now it hurts like holy hell.
I struggled north in the rain today to put some checks in the bank and remembered today was the library's first day of the book sale. Bought like 16 books but only 2 for me. The rest are the fat danielle steele/nora roberts for my aunt while she takes her sister to the hospital weekly.
I don't watch reality tv. I DO catch bits of Dancing with the Stars when setting up to record Castle. I don't mind this show so much but i don't care to hear the judges or the rehersals. ANyhow, Kristie Ally amazes me with her ability. She said something tonight that struck a chord with me. "It pisses me off when pain keeps me from doing the things I want to do" I know this so intimately. I was also shocked at how good Ralph Macchio and Hines Ward were tonight (I was finishing a late dinner in front of the tv this time. I think this is the most I've ever seen).
this amused me. I love this sort of stuff creepy abandoned mansions
Day Eleven: Favorite female character in a children’s show
Toph is cool. One, it's not often you get a handicapped character and when you do it's usually all about the handicap. There was a little of that of course, that made it more believeable but Toph was far more than just being about her blindness. She has a mouth on her the size of the whole earth nation and nothing stops her. That's what I like about her the best.
This might look familiar. Yes this IS the Ridges, the insane asylum but Ohio University has turned it into an art museum and they have a exhibition of nightmares and I really want to go

Date: 2011-04-12 03:03 am (UTC)Sorry about your brother - though is it a good sign that they don't want to keep him in the hospital?
I've still not seen Avatar The Last Airbender.

Good thoughts for your poor brother.
I don't have pain that keeps me from doing much, but I am really irritated that my knees are always hurting, especially when I get up. They have crepitation. My doc thinks that the movement from side to side as they've slipped over the years has caused injury to the cartilage. The right one is particularly annoying.

Date: 2011-04-12 03:59 am (UTC)snort.you're probably right.
thanks.
yeah i hear that. my knees are the worst. i've had multiple knee injuries and now the knee caps are all arthritic

Date: 2011-04-12 01:13 pm (UTC)I've been watching Dancing and while I'm not thrilled with this year's, I do give Kirstie cudos. She's keeping up, even with Max's leg giving out last week and her loosing a shoe this week.
And Sugar Ray has been pretty good too.

Date: 2011-04-12 03:54 pm (UTC)Kristie moves well for her size though when his leg gave out, I thought for sure she would just crumble (I saw that one) thinking her weight was to blame. I know I would have

I like Toph. So she couldn't see. She used her feet to see. :) And though her parents wanted her to be their helpless widdwe baby... she would have none of it.
Art museum in a nut house. I find that oddly appropriate. Can't create good art without a touch of madness, now can we?

Date: 2011-04-12 03:48 pm (UTC)Exactly. They wanted to turn her into the stereotype and toph had her own opinions on that
No i'm not sure we can
