it's starting to take a toll
Apr. 12th, 2011 11:23 pmMy life is feeling very unshiny and strained. I sat down to write while watching NCIS and could NOT remember a single
fmagiftexchange i had promised to do for the charity equivalent exchange, nor the help_japan (which IS NCIS) fanfic. I didn't remember i have two birthdays in two days with nothing prepared. I'm sorry guys. I will do it. I'm just a little knocked down now.
My brother is being operated on tomorrow to remove the fissure and do more work on the sphincter and frankly he and the rest of the family would like to know why the fissure wasnt removed christmas day.
My uncle who fell wasn't supposed to be operated on WAS today. they must have really hated what they found on the scan.
The cousin who died last week is being autopsied since the doctor's aren't sure he was ever diagnosed right (big surprise, FL has managed to run off their best docs)
there is good news. Rain sent me a couple of neat looking books (I think she and Silvrethorn and I all need to make a booklist of true crime and hauntings so we don't start passing each other books we've read. I have not read these). There was also a cool dragon pin and a crying bananna key chain. THANK YOU.
Day Twelve: Favorite female character in a movie

There is not even words for how much I loved Marion Ravenwood when I was a young teenager. I wanted to be her (and getting Harrison Ford wouldn't h ave been a bad deal, notice I keep selecting women who get pre-insanity Harrison Ford?). Marion was tough, rude, crude and smart. She just really made me love her. I loved her less in the last movie but I pretend that didn't even exist.

I enjoy walking here when I get a chance but no one wants to go with me usually and I don't feel safe walking there alone. If I fall I'm hosed

Date: 2011-04-13 09:22 am (UTC)LOVED Marion. I actually saw that one a few nights ago. I think it was on... TNT? Spike? Something. It's always so much better than "Indiana Jones Meets The Russians And Also Maybe The Aliens". :\
Nice picture! I would go walking there with you if I didn't live hours away. XD

I'll be happy to go hiking with you in that place. It looks amazing. Or is that the place we went to last time we hiked?

By the way, as for birthdays, mine was in February and the family finally got around to celebrating it last Friday. We're celebrating my nieces birthdays (which were also in February) this Sunday.

Date: 2011-04-13 12:44 pm (UTC)The cemetery book is fun - and by Katherine Ramsland, yes, THAT Katherine Ramsland! :D The Cracked book is just like the website but without the computer. Enjoy. I made the dragon pin. I'm glad you like it. :D

Date: 2011-04-13 11:09 pm (UTC)And oh, nice pic of the scenery. Reminds me a lot of this one university I visited when I was in high school and there were a lot of trees, bushes, and such, haha.
