a slow day at the shaky shack

At least it only looked like rain and didn't do it. Easter was very quiet. I mostly graded homework and caught up on my tv watching. Really enjoyed Dr. Who. Fringe, not so much.

It was a very bad day for Roy. He was outside yesterday and apparently fell in a mud hole. He was a mess. Which means bathtime. Roy, unlike the other furry idiots, doesn't like water. I had him pinned to the wall trying to bathe him. Picspam of this process tomorrow.

Dinner came out very good (see other post) but my god, you'd think my oven was caked with crap as much as it reeked when I put it on broil. yuck. still stinks.

I didn't get nearly as much writing done and I have come to a conclusion about my garden which I weeded a little of today. I'm going to just let it go. i can't do it this year. it's too risky with my shoulder. I'll do what i can with the weeds but I'm not doing what i planned (i.e. rip it up and redo it because I will hurt myself I know I will).

Also I'm logging all the one -word things but it might take me a day or two



Day Twenty-Four: Favorite female romantic relationship



Is anyone surprised? It was this or Dru/Spike and I do think I love Royai a lot more than Spru. It is so hard to find pictures of them. Most of the commerical stuff is so weird (points to what I chose) or with Ed/winry (which oddly I can't find in my files right now). There are a lot of very non-sexy screen caps and plenty of fan art that I don't like showing without permission but hey look up at my banner, it says it all. ( saw nice onesfrom dzioo & astridv I love their understated relationship. Granted I chose to believe that they are very much in love, that their loyalty is far beyond that of mere soldiers and that even though we didn't see it, they're going to have a happily ever after






okay technically spring bracks for the holiday, the dogwood flower isn't the big showy thing we think of when we look at this. It's a worm eye's view up at the one outside my library.
