ugh last day at 43. now i'm IN my 40's yuck.

Exchanges are hard - it's why I didn't want the slashfest set up that way. Nothing against anyone, it's just really hard to please everyone when you're matching them up like that. Letting people pick their own prompts from a pool like we are ensures writers and artists will be happy with their picks, but it means many prompts will go unclaimed. You win some, you lose some. This round of ladyfest will not be as easy for some participants as it is for others. :|

I hear ya. I also like our setup so that there won't be complaints over the prompts participants were given. I remember this was being discussed when seatbeltdrivein wanted to host a couple writing fests.

It's gorgeous. I bet it folds back up into the central part so that the fireplace could be loaded and cleaned without having to completely move it. Very nice.
