boy was it raining last night

and the wind was insane. it remained windy all day so it felt decidedly colder. loved it. it's raining again though. rather tired of that.

my parents are learning that it's cheaper to fly to europe than to seattle

i went to see grandma and uncleal, both at the same assisted living. grandm was in a rare good mood, hardly bitched at all. dad took al to happy hour for some wine. the aide giving out drinks was laughing hard after an old man was talknig to her. he said he wished he had a paddle so he could take her home and spank her. men 90 years old and still horndogs.

*LOL* Men never stop being horn dogs, no matter their age! My hubby was 32 years older than me and....ooooooh...ornery little twerp. *grinning* I actually kissed him on the forehead to make SURE he was dead. Figured if his eyes didn't fly open and he didn't make a grab for me...yup he was gone.

I love that gate! It reminds me of the opening to Chinatown in San Francisco, a little (but then, I haven't seen a lot of Chinatowns)!

I like the gate. Was the Chinatown touristy or more a practical place for the Chinese residents to shop? I guess the Little Saigon district in Orlando doesn't qualify as a Chinatown. Or even a Vietnam-town, really.

If it's cheaper to fly to Europe, your parents should go with the flow and fly to Europe. The Euro is down right now. They could do worse (and what the heck is so interesting in Seattle, anyway?)

it was more of a block than a town, really little saigon in orlando was bigger just not as interested in the marketing, they're trying reclaim this town

dad won't go for retarded reasons. he wants to start there in seattle and do the route 1 tour
