oh how fun it is to drive with you. The good news is, no diabetic changes in my retina (thankfully), no changes in vision, no need for readers (hahaha younger brother, you need them I don't).

Put my grades in. I have to confess I'm a little concerned that I'm the only prof out of the three of us that has begun work on the anatomy lectures. They've been kicking my ass for 6 weeks now and I've only got 2 units done per class. I think it's time for someone to stand up if they're going to pull these out their ass.

My chair isn't too happy I have to miss the first meeting. Sorry. surgeon wants me back and it's this or miss class to go. I'm not happy about it either. I WANT to be in the meeting (mostly because of my need to control things and the best way to do that in the dept is to you know be active in it)

I don't feel well. The g.i. distress has added nausea and fever to it. sigh. Just because i have to drive home soon.

Soul wants to sit in my lap. I'm holding him and crying because i know that these are my last moments like this with him. I mentioned putting plastic down everywhere well except for one bare spot for him to sleep on and under his food. tonight he peed all over his food and water. I don't care what the vet says there is something WRONG with him. And neither vet could take the cats for boarding. I had to go back to another boarder who is way out in nowheresville. She informed me the no-kill shelter in Columbus will no longer take cats outside of the county. ANyone live in Columbus and wanna help out if need be?

I'm even more depressed. one of the nursing students who used to live here in the apts where i do just posted on fb she bought a house. now I feel even more like a loser.


And last but definitely not least, I hope my friends in the London area are okay and the idiocy stops. (I would also like the idiocy to stop here but that's not likely to happen. Oh look stock market crashed again, there goes my IRA)

oh and THANK YOU Germany for this bowling with severed heads I would totally bowl if i could have one of these


ETA - This lady is fascinating. How have I never heard of her? Oh right, she's Australian and we don't even learn about American women of note in history classes over here. the white mouse

Very sad for Soul, but yeah, that sounds like there is definitely something wrong. Poor kitty.

When I first saw those severed heads bowling balls I remembered the exchange with The Bowler in Mystery Men: "You put your Dad's head in a bowling ball?" "Nah, the guy at the pro shop did it."

i should call that vet back and say if you keep him for observation will you hold him 10 days and chek him out (as oppose to my usual vet)

I think that's a good idea. Poor Soul definitely has something wrong. Unfortunately, with cats it's just so hard to know what that is. (hugs to you and Soul)

I'm so sorry to hear all these not-fun updates. :( I'm most sad about Soul and all the kitteh drama, but you've got to be strong and do what's right for them all.

On a side note, my buddy geeky_ramblings was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis and is trying to deal with that. I mentioned to her that you also had it, so she may or may not be contacting you. I hope that's okay.

no i don't evenknow them. I meant Catwelfare whom i've taken cats to before and (where I got my beloved Iktomi) but they will not accept out of county cats any more.
